From Timeshare Owner to TTST
The Truth That Changed Everything
“Here’s the next body of information I promised you.”
Truthful Time Share Termination LLC (TTST) was built by a former owner who lived the problem and created the solution, me, Tim.
Once, I carried two programs for 22 years, and one of them, purchased in 2006 and held for 18 years, was nothing short of horrible. Six years later, I was scammed by a company that promised to list and sell the bad timeshare in 2012, losing over $600 in the process when my Developer said “We don’t take them back-you have to sell it”.
We used the program once, and after that it became a bi‑yearly problem for years. I rented our week 34 just to cover the costs. In the fall of 2023, another maintenance bill arrived, and I realized the problem had to be solved and could no longer be ignored, the maintenance had exceeded the rental income and I was done with having this timeshare hanging over my head.
I spent over seven months digging through what felt like a gauntlet of fraud, in the way of YouTube videos, three attorney interviews, three hotel presentations attended, and researching a dozen organizations claiming they could help owners. What I found was risk, inflated fees, and more deception.
However, in the relentless research I began seeing the clues the industry conceals or by careful omission chooses to not explain. One day I found it, hiding in plain sight, but it took over seven months of reading, changing my thinking, and learning new skills. When I finally figured it out, it was simple and quick to end my family’s ownership myself.
When I completed my own termination, my net cost was nothing out of pocket, because I recovered over $875 in maintenance fees I had paid just ten months prior. That is the truth behind the question people always ask: “What did it cost you to do it, Tim?”
After terminating my own program, I began teaching others how to do the same. But most people quickly felt overwhelmed trying to build the documents and manage the steps themselves. Since it actually required me well over seven months to learn this skill and cultivate the knowledge, it was not surprising to see the idea of teaching this skill fail from the outset. I personally committed to learning about the industry, the average person just wants out of their timeshare.
The request became the same every time: “Will you just do it for us?” and “I don’t have the time or the system to do what you can do.”
I responded to that request and made the pivot from trying to teach, to simply doing the clerical task for people as a service, plus I provided the education.
I do not work for a developer or any “release group.” I am fully independent and built every part of this process myself. I stand above and alone in this field as measured by integrity, transparency and competency from anyone I have crossed paths with to date.
During the face‑to‑face call, people decide quickly and see the immediate value and how TTST’s fee pays for itself on the spot. The industry often deploys the psychological leverage script of “five plus years comparison math, we are a bargain.” If you have ever heard that script or may in the future, leave the conversation and protect your wallet. Why, because TTST’s work pays for itself in a four weeks or fewer, with plenty of change left over.
Further, a timeshare owner does not have to deal with their program’s overpriced and occasional “open door” to exit opportunity either. Those programs are complete nonsense, and when they actually do as advertised, they are extremely overpriced and far slower, typically by months and months.
TTST’s role is straightforward: you explain your program and its history as best you know it and have documents for. Then you provide TTST the necessary documents TTST requests. Accuracy in documentation is not an option for this process, the work has to be exact.
I teach the truth about how to understand those documents. TTST prepares the clerical draft documents needed to terminate your Timeshare Program interest correctly, quickly, and permanently.
